An educational exhibition for children and parents hosted at the Science Museum in Kyiv. The goal was to raise public awareness about the importance of vaccination. I designed ten characters representing well-known bacteria and viruses. By translating complex medical history into an approachable visual language, we made the science engaging and accessible for a young audience.

Character exploration. The design challenge was to make viruses like Measles and Tuberculosis look visually compelling and educational without being terrifying for children.

The finalized character artwork. Each illustration was designed to anchor a large-scale banner, drawing viewers in to read the history of the disease and its vaccine.By using a highly textured, watercolor aesthetic, we intentionally softened the clinical reality of viruses, making them feel hand-crafted and approachable for children rather than sterile or intimidating

The final artwork installed at the VDNG Science Museum.
